When I was young, I invited a man of God to come to our city to conduct meetings and he said, if I could get the churches to cooperate, he would come. Because they did not agree with some of the things he believed they refused, although he had the power of God working in his ministry. I believe he was a true man of God, but I always felt he should have based his decision on the will of the Lord and not on whether men would support his ministry. Today, just as it was back then, most people do not want to hear the truth if it goes against their doctrine.
